Fan of decoration, Johanna has created an interior that looks like her. With a few tips and inspiration, her 56m² apartment displays a trendy and personalized decor without forgetting to be practical. Preferring large surfaces to small spaces, Johanna had to imagine multifunctional rooms.

A small office area in the bedroom

Mahault St-Hilaire A workspace has been fitted out simply with a few shelves, a cork board and a period desk. To harmonize the decor, a small blue chest of drawers recalls the retro spirit of the office and the romantic side of the sleeping area.

Souvenirs and recuperation in the entrance

Mahault St-Hilaire To decorate your entry, just three times nothing, like here, with this vintage-style armchair and these framed photos. To make the connection between the white walls of the entrance and the blue walls of the corridor, the frames were painted the same color.

A multifunctional living room

Mahault St-Hilaire At Johanna's, the living room is divided into three spaces: living room, dining area, kitchen. In this living-dining room, the seating area is delimited without partitions. It is a carpet on the floor and a strip of graphic wallpaper on the wall that creates a separation.

Integrate a piano into your decor

Mahault St-Hilaire Whether you have aspiring pianists at home or are a musician, it is not always easy to integrate a piano into your home. In this apartment, to create a music space in the living room, a green plant serves as a separation. And to optimize the space while integrating the piano into its decoration, Johanna has chosen to place a mirror whose black frame recalls the instrument.

Frames to decorate the walls

Mahault St-Hilaire A wall of frames is a good solution to bring a modern and trendy touch to a white wall. For a successful frame wall, we think of varying their sizes and colors.

A kitchen open to the living room

Mahault St-Hilaire As the kitchen is open to the living-dining room, it adopts the same modern and refined spirit with its white color, its wooden worktop and its stainless steel elements.

Storage with recycling

Mahault St-Hilaire In the kitchen, it is not always easy to keep your decorative touch with groceries, dishes and all the utensils that accumulate there. Wooden boxes, such as wine boxes, allow you to store all these elements. It is an economical solution and, with its vintage touch, which gives style to the kitchen.
